Basil and Olive oil Icecubes




Basil and olive oil ice cubes (a great preservation method). They’re quick and easy to make, and fantastic for pasta dishes

A quick and easy way to preserve basil by freezing it with olive oil – great for using all-year-round .


A bunch of Basil

One cup olive oil


Cut the Basil to a small pieces ( you can use food possessor)  and place it in the ice cube pour some oil and freeze it …

When it’s hard and done

take them out  the ice cube container and place them in a Ziploc bag and place them back into the freezer till you ready to use them .

You can replace the basil with rosemary or any kind of herb you like.
