Oscar de la Renta – Spring 2014 Collection

Sunshine was strewn throughout, in shades of citron, chartreuse and clementine, aqua and fuchsia coral, aquamarine,  lime green, purple and silver.

As per De la Renta’s press notes, his materials were a veritable “melange”: of floral embroidery and corded filigree, of hounds-tooth, chain-mail and intarsia.

Lace is still in trend this year, as well as hi-low skirts and statement clutches.

Adornments included colored flower hairpins, black lace gloves and a pair of black veils — not that de la Renta has anything to hide, or that there’s any mystery as to why he’s so successful.
