Lime and Pineapple Seltzer
1 cup Water any kind you like
1 cup finely diced fresh Pineapple
10 black Peppercorns
5 cups Sparkling Water
Wash and Juice the limes in a pitcher, reserving the juiced halves. Add the water. Cut the pineapple to small pieces and add them peppercorns, and lime halves in a sachet.
How to make the Sachet: Cut a 10×10 inch piece of cheesecloth, fold in half and then half again, making a 5×5 inch square.
Gather the corners together, making it into a pocket, add your ingredients, tie the top with the end of a 12 inch piece of cooking twine.
Tie the other end around the pitcher handle to make easy to remove from water.
Place the sachet in the pitcher and allow to steep for at least 2 hours. Remove the sachet, squeezing any liquid that remains inside back into the pitcher.
Add the sparkling water and stir. Serve over ice.
