That’s probably the gown his father was christened in!

I heard the christening gown was a replica of the one worn by Prince William,

which had been handed down from Queen Victoria. Queen Elizabeth determined

in 2004 it was too fragile to use and “retired” it, commissioning a replica which Prince George wore today. Stunningly beautiful.

Prince George has seven godparents: Prince William’s cousin Zara Tindall (formerly Zara Phillips); Oliver Baker,

who was friends with Kate and William at college; Emilia Jardine-Peterson,

a schoolmate of Kate’s; Earl “Hugh” Grosvenor, the son of one of William’s godparents;

Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton, a palace employee and family friend; Julia Samuel,

a close friend of Princess Diana; and William van Cutsem, another close family friend. Quite an A-Team.
